RSS = Really Simple Syndication!

syndication hasnt been much of a practice to many but,  some found other ways to use it.

its really handy to keep a handful or rss links so here are some

these are just lists of what you will see as a huge text dump in your browsers…

but open up a reader and poof there goes real time content.

I  just had a quick gig with someone over digitalpoint with a custom customizable rss widget. So it somehow fueled some greymatter stirring time… and here’s what souped out.

RSS can also be used to feed your

1. blog – yes autoblogs, normal blogs,  sidebar stuff.

2. social networks –  there are some websites that offer this now, many are free.

3. forums – yes this is possible, a small bot will check on monitored blogs on cron or fake cron, then posts (injects a post) under a certain username, in any thread. why would people want this? bloggers get their links, forumers get their content.

4. local dashboard – you can display real time weather, exchange rates, flight schedules, news, and more into one neat screen. Traveller’s kiosks, ATMs, Information Booths, Even Phone booths for directory and video calling.

So updating your blog means an automated post right into your facebook, twitter, another blog, forum etc…

Some of these technologies are yet to be widely implemented nor it is widely known. I am an innovator and I have done experiments on some of these – some got sold, some stayed in the labs,  some were meant to be forgotten.

some call it powerlinking some just refer to it as a strategic linking

steps are simply as follows

1. create accounts as many as you can

2. publish 1-3 articles of unique content with 300-500 words maintaining big keyword density.

3. push not more than 3 links to your main site(or a single page – so you can put more links for other pages)

4. put in a link to the neighboring account (which you will edit next)

5. do this until you complete a circle (the last one’s neighbor should be your first account).

now dig, ping,  submit,  syndicate your web2.0 sites and there you go.. watch your magic be done

sounds hard to accomplish but if done right here are your benefits.

1. you will be trapping spiders in circles and multiplying your main site link counts.

2. you will be getting results in no time since some web2.0 sites are faster to index while some even searchable real-time.

3. you got nothing to loose since it is not traceable even by humans that you own all of the web2.0 sites that link to you. well not so if you put more effort on it.

sounds like a great SEO opportunity here.. im still not sure what hat to where while doing this, this can be plainly white hat but still since its a hack around.. it might be a black hat…or grey..

I might be making a case study on this later and maybe display some diagrams and sample macros.  Im thinking of building like 3 levels of this or 3 separate circles linking to one site… but ofcourse its merely useless if i cant get some PR on those web2.0 sites… think, think… more of like dynamic links which changes each time a visitor or spider visits…pre defined via IP? or some other algorithm? Ive come to understand that some say common link wheels dont work anymore so I am thinking of another work around.

This guys here say they can do it automatically ( SENuke ) striked as per wordpress staff request

while these guys do the conventional ( The Link Team )

1. Joomla – Most used CMS. need I say more?
2. Drupal – developer friendly CMS
3. WordPress – yes it can easily act as a CMS although it is primarily a blog engine
4. Tinyportal – an addon to Simple Machines Forum (SMF) which simply turns your forum into a full featured website.

in CMS Selection.. you might want to consider this

1. Price – Open usally means FREE but in some cases its not… clarify first… and be ready to pay for better kits too.  Or you can sell your finish product even though it was based on a FREE engine.
2. Support  / Updates – does it come with inhouse support? are there any support communities? will you earn by being a support?
3. Mods / Plugins / Widgets / Addons – whatever they are called… they must have a lot.. or in any cases an ongoing development of it but you must be able to find what you need from the start… ofcourse will you earn by making/reselling mods?
4. Themes – does it have theme support? are there any themes? FREE? Premium? Can you earn by making/reselling themes? <—hahaha

this should be the flow but its much better if it goes by the cycle…

bottomline: you should be either learning or earning – best if both
